The world's remaining 162 countries contributed less than 2% in total." - I found this article revisiting [[LN_A Vision of Metascience]] so, in some way, this has bearing on the need for newer organisational models, as recommended by the Nurse review- FROs are just a piece of this puzzle. - But, at the same time, I just don't know if I get the picture completely as to why productivity dips are connected to highly cited papers. Is it that citations are self-serving? - PARC things: - [IEEE PARC article](https://spectrum.ieee.org/xerox-alto) - read Alan Kay’s references [here](https://internetat50.com/alan-kay-references/) - [[C2C Bike rides]] - [[Acta Astronautica paper submission on overleaf]] - [[$ Prompts for reflective writing]] - Getting through my [[20a My Books]] - [visonOS VR space visualisation](https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2023/10109/?time=1408) - [[ZIrUTkTkwUaauKvzWj52Zg.pdf|example off grid home in Yorkshire]] ## Teaching links - [Numpy ODE solver example](https://furnstahl.github.io/5300-JB/notebooks/Reference/ODEs_with_solve_ivp.html) ## Links to read - [Boglehead stuff](https://www.reddit.com/r/Bogleheads/comments/sv9nce/reading_list_recommendations/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&utm_content=1&utm_term=15) - [Cycling in London](https://www.reddit.com/r/londoncycling/comments/154vf7k/living_north_london_and_training_for_a_mountain/jsr0z2r/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&utm_content=1&utm_term=22&context=3) - [Personal Finance](https://reddit.com/r/UKPersonalFinance/s/5JVACNIUdW) <div class="container"> <div class="column"><a data-href="12 Hundred Person Habitat " href="Space Habitation" class="internal-link"></a></div> <div class="column"><a data-href="20a My Books" href="Books" class="internal-link"></a></div> <div class="column"><a data-href="0 Proposals are a key component of my job and life" href="Research things" class="internal-link"></a></div> <div class="column"><a data-href="9c1 Xerox-PARC culture" class="internal-link"></a></div> </div>
