- I recently began using the phrase "high risk high reward researchers" to counter the "high risk high reward research" framework that funders want to support. This was to say that if "people, not projects" are what get funded then "HRHR people, not HRHR projects".
- This phrase is catchier but the week before I began using this I was saying something that still makes a lot more sense to me about how there are some individuals for whom no reward is enough.
