- In Newton's world, forces are what cause motion. - I see ideas as an analogue to this Newtonian conceptualisation of a force. Ideas, as they accumulate, cause motion and are thus a force. - Motion of what? I think what I mean here is that they can cause the motion of an individual's mind/body/soul (or a small group of people) to transition from the idea thought to a tangible action. - Exploring the idea landscape often leads to two things: - identifying/better understanding motivations to persist with action that leads to continual growth/discovery of new connected sub-ideas; or - the death/killing of an idea. # Next notes - [[6a Who has ideas and where?]] - [[6b Where one gets to lead ideas today?]] - [[6c Types of ideas]] - [[6d On good ideas]]
