1. Starting with a blank page; a good start is always tough to get and that first word is just as important as the first sentence. 2. Typically, I open a text editor with the intention of reading my notes. But I somehow forget my intent and start editing these notes, which was never my intention in that moment. This lack of friction in switching from reading to editing is one of my major gripes with digital interfaces of text editors. Contrast this to voice notes- one can't change th spoken word as easily as the written word. At best, you can add to it/explain yourself better.
